The first section is titled Parenting.”The approach is based on Adler and Dreikurs but updated by Dr. Jones to reflect her current thinking based on recent research.

The second section is titled Disorders and Syndromes
I (Dr. Sheehan) cover ID -- Intellectual Disabilities
Then I talk about “ASD.” Here I gives an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Blog page also reflects my review of some current research on ASD.
This is followed by a discussion on Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Disruptive Behavior Disorders, the next topic, include Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder


I then turn my focus to what I call Mosaic Disorders and Syndromes. These are disorders that have many components and are made up of combinations of disorders.
The first combo disorder is ADHD/ODD.
This is followed by a discussion of Childhood Bi-Polar Disorder
Next is “PDA.” This is Pathological demand Avoidance Syndrome. Many researchers consider this a subset of ADH and frequently is labeled PDD-NOS. -- Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not otherwise Specified.


The Third section is titled Interventions
I first cover “Floortime -- DIR.” This is a treatment approach based on the Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-based (DIR®/Floortime™) Model.
then I talk about Mindfulness
and a section on QiGong

A final section is titled Blog. This section is a blog on my thinking on a variety of topics including approaches to ASD.
